Artist Bio
My name is Lee Gutzewitz, and I’m a tattoo artist based in the beautiful town of Queenstown, New Zealand. Surrounded by lush landscapes, I find constant inspiration in the natural beauty and spirit of this place. Art has always been at the core of who I am and can’t remember a time when I wasn’t drawing or creating. After studying Classical Animation and earning my diploma, I spent eight years working as a freelance traditional and digital artist, with my paintings exhibited across the Lakes District and Southland galleries.
My journey into tattooing was a natural evolution of my love for art and storytelling. I wanted to create lasting, meaningful pieces that people could carry with them every day — art that feels personal, empowering, and true to their stories. I believe that building trust, feeling safe, and truly listening to each client are key parts of the tattooing process. Every piece is a collaboration, and I aim to keep tattoo sessions welcoming, fun, educational.
I’m committed to providing a professional, safe environment, where aftercare education and the longevity of your tattoo are just as important as the art itself.
